17 Again

I went to the hairdresser after work yesterday; the first time this year! I’m keen to find a new hair product I can use in the mornings. The mousse I have is fine, but it gives me the wet look all day, which doesn’t look so great if it can be avoided. So I asked her to style my hair with a firm hold product that I could use on wet hair (because Hubby is still asleep when I leave, and he’s not a fan of hair dryers) each morning before heading off to work.

I have to say, my hair looked fantastic, beautiful, amazing, lovely; but it was nothing that I asked her to do. She spent an hour blow-drying and curling it, and using about ½ a can of hairspray! The good news is, I felt amazing as I walked down the High Street on my way to the train station.

When I reached the cinema I saw that I had a missed call from Hubby, so I called him. He had been in town only fifteen minutes before to grab some dinner (apparently too hungry to wait for me!). He suggested going to the cinema that night, and hey presto, I was there! It was either "The Fast & The Furious" or “17 Again”, and I chose the latter; I wasn’t about to sit through another film about modified cars!

On our most spontaneous trip to the cinema ever (Hubby had 5 minutes to get back to town and into the cinema), we went to see “17 Again” and we absolutely loved it. We were laughing the whole time, and it was such a good night. I thoroughly recommend seeing it if you haven’t already. Oh, and I thoroughly recommend the hot dog and toffee popcorn washed down with a litre of Coke ;)
