Top Hat; or Not Top Hat?

This is what Hubby wants to look like on the wedding day:

But I'm concerned he's going to look more like this:

In all fairness, Hubby's not that weird looking, but I'm worried he will resemble this guy more than the first guy. Why? Because he bought a top hat that I fear is too small for him.

Unfortunately it's no secret that I never wanted him to have a top hat and cain, so now he thinks I'm being awkward, but it honestly does look strange... and I have 10 days to convince him of this.

I see only one problem here; Hubby is stubborn.

What to do, what to do... I've already thought of hiding it, but I'm an adult and I'm not about to play games. And besides, it's not like there's many hiding places in a one bedroomed flat.

They say you shouldn't hope to change the man you love, but right now I kinda want to change his opinion of this hat. I think it's dawning on me that I'm going to have very strange looking wedding photos...

hahaha that 2nd picture is hilarious! I think if he has the whole get-up like the first picture and totally gets into character then a top hat might work, but otherwise, I think it might be cheesy in the long run :)

That's what I was thinking. And I'm not prepared for my wedding to be cheesy...

Since he already has the whole get-up, let him start out wearing it at the wedding. Get some more opinions from family and the wedding party that day. And if he does end up wearing it I would try to get some pictures with out the top hat and cain, so when you are looking back at your pictures you have a few good ones without it.

That might be the only way to go if he is as stubborn as you say.

If you hide it would he go out and by another one? And is it worth listening to him complain about them missing?
